The European mix dominated ex-Finest in two maps to clinch a grand final berth at Elisa Invitational Fall and a spot at the Finnish LAN tournament.

GamerLegion blew past ex-Finest 2-0 at the Elisa Invitational Fall semi-final to secure a spot in the grand final. They were in full control on their opponents' map pick Vertigo and scored a 16-4 win before finishing the job on Mirage with a convincing 16-7 victory.

Mihai "⁠iM⁠" Ivan was the driving force in GamerLegion's victory as the Romanian put up 48 kills and a 1.75 rating, the best among anyone on the server. The European mix continue their charge for first place and the $12,500 in prize money, but by reaching the grand final GamerLegion have already clinched a spot at Elisa Masters Espoo.

GamerLegion are on the verge of their first tournament win this year

GamerLegion have been on the way up ever since their lineup revamp in August, bringing in Frederik "⁠acoR⁠" Gyldstrand, Nicolas "⁠Keoz⁠" Dgus, and Kamil "⁠siuhy⁠" Szkaradek.

In late August they qualified for the Europe Regional Major Ranking tournament and made their presence felt at the RMR in early October by taking reigning Major champions FaZe to quadruple-overtime in their opening bout. They fell to the 1-2 pool by the second day of play, but bounced back and stunned G2 on the way to securing a spot at the IEM Rio Major.

GamerLegion join the likes of Astralis, MOUZ, and ENCE at the $200,000 competition, which will be held on November 16-20, shortly following the conclusion of the Major. The current team list is as follows:
