The expected names joined Virtus.pro in the playoffs of CEVO Professional Season 7 – mousesports as group A's top team, and Cloud9 and Natus Vincere as second placed teams.

After Virtus.pro defeated Na`Vi to top group B, it was time for group A's winners' match between mousesports and local crowd's favorites Cloud9.

The North American team disappointed their fans on the first map, Cache, as they couldn't find a way to penetrate mouz's defense seeing a 12-3 CT half quickly turninto a 16-5 victory for Fatih "gob b" Dayik & co.

Crowd had more to cheer for on the second map as C9 went up 10-3 as terrorists on Dust2. However, they dropped the last two rounds, as well aand then the following pistol round, opening the door for the German team's comeback.

In the end Cloud9 barely mustered up two CT rounds as they wound up on the losing side of a 16-12 scoreline, succumbing to mousesports 0-2 and putting their playoff spot in jeopardy.

Meanwhile CLG eliminated Liquid with a 2-1 score (16-5 Train, 3-16 Mirage, 16-12 Dust2), which left six teams in the tournament as Luminosity were previously knocked out by Tempo Storm after a 2-1 comeback (19-15 Cache, 13-16 Dust2, 6-16 Cobblestone).

Battle for the second place in group B was next on schedule, pitting Natus Vincere against the newly formed Tempo Storm squad who yesterday showed some teeth against Virtus.pro.

The first map already suggested that the North Americans weren't going to roll over and surrender, as they held on to a lead throughout the first half and even managed to stay on even score at 13-13.

Experience prevailed in the end, and Egor "flamie" Vasilyev's 30 kills also helped, as Natus Vincere ran away with the last 3 rounds for a 16-13 victory on Mirage.

Tempo Storm won a triple OT map against Na`Vi

Moving on to Inferno, Tempo Storm once again came out strong and went the distance with the CIS team for the full 30 rounds. It took three overtimes to settle the winner of this one, and it was actually the young North American squad that came out on top 25-22 led by 43 kills from Timothy "autimatic" Ta.

However, they didn't have much left in the tank for the third map where Na`Vi stormed through them 16-8 on Cobblestone to secure their spot in the playoffs and a meeting with mousesports.

The last clash of the day was actually a rematch of yesterday's group A opener between Cloud9 and CLG, who were now battling to stay in the tournament.

Dust2 was the first map, where C9 started out very strong and took a 13-2 T-side lead. But similarly to the day before, CLG never gave up and started another big comeback after the sides changed.

They eventually scored 10 terrorist rounds, but Cloud9 managed to close out the map 16-12.

Cloud9 once again overcame CLG 2-0

Second map was the same as yesterday, Cache, but the teams learned from the previous clash and now CLG scored seven CT rounds. But their opponents also adjusted and played better on the defensive side, in the defeating them 16-9 for another 2-0 score in the series and a spot in the semi-final.
